A Few Common Allergens That Can Cause Asthma Allergies

Some people may have to suffer because of being affected by certain allergens that can severely aggravate their asthmatic condition and thus will need to find out how to cope with their asthma allergies. Among the most common allergens that cause an aggravation of asthma are plant pollutants, or more exactly, pollen grains that are produced by different plants for reproductive purposes and these small sized grains are then disseminated through the medium of water, wind as well as through animals to all parts of the world.

Pollen Grains

If you are allergic to these pollen grains, you can then expect severe deterioration in your asthma condition, and particular mention needs to be made about pollen grains that are disseminated by wind which are in fact, the main reason why some people suffer from asthma allergies. These pollen grains are often produced by unattractive flowers of certain plants and they are also small sized as well as unattractive and most often released in the wee hours of the day.

Thus, people that suffer from such asthma allergies often report an attack in the early hours of the morning which is when these pollen grains show up and affect the patient, and so in order to prevent such an attack, it will pay to understand the calendar of the place before living in certain parts of the world.

Another common cause of asthma allergies is fungi that are plants considered to be saprophytic and very tiny in size, and are in essence scavengers that cause decay as well as breaking up of non-living organisms and turning them into simple chemical components. Of course, not all fungi are harmful and some are in fact quite useful and are even used in antibiotics such as penicillin and even wines, alcohol as well as cheese are made from them.

However, spores are released from the processing of alcohol, cheese and wines and these can affect certain people in a negative manner and cause asthma allergies, especially in months from September through to November, and February through to April.

Another common cause of asthma allergies is the dust in your home and the reason for this is that there are many people who have an allergy to dust in the home, which often settles on furniture and also on furnishings and can comprise of dust from without the house as well as that which originates within the home. It could even come from remnants of food, from your pet, from insects as well as even from human hair.

To be sure, when you find that asthma allergies are affecting you and you are not able to find a suitable cure, it is time for you to visit asthma and allergy clinic where proper diagnosis and treatment can be affected.

Even your pet as too horses and cows and even buffaloes and animals with lots of fur are known to cause asthma allergies, and another cause is occupational allergens, such as in bakeries where flour could prove to be an allergen or cement could be an allergen in a cement factory.
