There is a new trend recently where people are traveling to some foreign countries because the cosmetic surgery costs are less, but the surgeons may not be highly qualified. This could be risky for it is not always easy to learn about the qualifications of the surgeons. People travel to Thailand, India and other countries because the costs are less. Each person should be careful for these surgeons may not have the skills of the surgeons in the United States. Some foreign plastic surgeons in foreign countries have been trained in the United States so their qualifications are similar to the surgeons who practice in the country. Some of these surgeons might have been trained in other countries where the standards are not as high as they are in the United States. Each person will have to decide if saving on cosmetic surgery costs is worth having a plastic surgeon who was trained in a foreign university. Cosmetic surgery costs may be inexpensive in foreign countries, but there could be problems with the surgery, and the corrective surgery would increase the costs substantially. |
