Alternative medicine and herbs have long been used to treat many different kinds of illnesses and conditions. Many of these alternative medicine forms and herbs are steeped in tradition and have been scientifically proven to really work. Not all may give us the desired effects but most of the ancient medicines and herbs do have some sort of positive effect on most people.

 

Using herbs for infertility is feasible idea. This is because many herbs do have properties that may address infertility. Ancient civilizations have long used herbs for infertility and conception. The herbs used for this express purpose may be a combination of herb while others are a single herb.

 

Herbs To Use

 

The various herbs for infertility treatment are listed below. These herbs for infertility treatment may actually require prolonged and continuous use or ingestion. Some of the herbs for infertility have been scientifically proven to reverse infertility while others are supplements which aid in promoting fertility and conception.

 

Dong Quai is an herb that the Chinese people have long used to promote regular menstruation and fertility in women. This is an herb rich in cobalt, iron and vitamin E which promotes a healthy reproductive system. Women must use this herb for a long period of time to be bale to get the desired results. Red raspberry leaves are also some of the herbs for infertility treatment. It functions in pretty much the same way as Dong Quai but have different elements and properties such as iron, manganese, calcium, vitamin C, A, B-complex, D, E and phosphorous.



 

False Unicorn root is also promoted in many cultures as herbs for infertility. It functions as a uterine tonic and a diuretic and is widely acclaimed to promote fertility in women. Wild Yam is also a known promoter of fertility in women. A tribe in Africa is reputed to have many twin births because the individuals of this tribe consume large amount of the yam. Wild Yam is said to trigger the release of FSH which stimulates a woman's ovaries to release an egg. In this case, more than one egg is released during the fertile period of the women of the said tribe.

 

Astragals is an herb that is said to promote male sperm motility while Siberian Ginseng acts to enhance and increase the sexual functions of males by stimulating testosterone production. Another herb used as herbs for infertility is pumpkin seed. These are known to be rich in zinc and good for the healthy function of the male reproductive system.

 

There are other herbs for infertility and these have also been tried and tested by several generations of people as alternative medicines.
