Anxiety is a term used to describe extreme fear or dread. It is a feeling of impending doom caused by an unknown reason. The stress that it causes the emotional aspect of life may interfere with the normal process that a person does everyday. Avoiding stress related situations may trigger even more the anxiety attack.

There are various ways on how to defeat depression and anxiety. Amongst these ways are psychosocial therapy, medication therapy, and electroconvulsive therapy. The motivation to get cured remains to be the best treatment option left for this type of mental illness.

The symptoms of depression can make you feel afraid and in dread; this is what causes depression to be related with anxiety. Whenever grief comes, anxiety follows; and the cycle goes on and on and on.



The gloomy feeling in depression makes it easy for the anxiety problem to attack. Whenever a person feels low, his feelings become susceptible to being afraid and terrified. In this way, anxiety can easily penetrate depression. Likewise, whenever fear is present, the depressing feeling comes back to the person. The feeling of not being in control with the problem and the feeling of hopelessness to find a solution brings back depression. Anxiety and depression uses each other to live and inhabit in a person's mind. How to defeat depression and anxiety is truly the main problem of the people affected with this type of disorder.
