Once your doctors know the type, grade and stage of your prostate cancer, they will decide with you which treatment will work best for your type of cancer. They will take any other health issues you may have into consideration and keep in mind that because prostate cancer is often slow-growing, you may be offered a program of very careful, regular follow-up with PSA testing and clinical examinations. No type of cancer is fun or easy to deal with, and there is no cure for prostate cancer as of yet, however the good news is that there various, effective treatment options which will help you to get control over your condition and feel as good as you can. |
